Bike Masters Totally Outrageous Recycling!

Bike Masters has always recycled the large cardboard boxes in which our bikes are shipped to us from the manufacturers. In the Fall of 2008, we increased our commitment to being "green" by recycling these additional materials:

1. small cardboard packing materials
2. plastic
3. aluminum cans
4. miscellaneous paper
5. glass.


Space is still a concern and this system will need some tweeking

On this trip to the recycling center, the van was packed with our most
outrageous recycling effort ever!

During 2009, we:

1. Reduced the size of our dumpster
2. Secured a metal items recycling facility


To our suprise, most recycling facilities will accept scrap metal

So far in 2010, we have:

1. Secured a rubber recycling facility (There will now be a $1 environmental fee if you'd like us to responsibly dispose of your tubes and tires)
2. Signed with Papilion Santitation. (They will accept all the materials we recycle except rubber)


Besides our recycling dumpster being much larger than the trash, we also
have yet to fill the trash dumpster
